Mind-Blowing Experience - From the moment I arrived at this MAGICAL place, I was blown away by the exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond, accommodating our early check-in and providing assistance with local pharmacies. The modern and comfortable rooms were spacious, clean, and smelled fresh. The convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the main cathedral, made exploring the city a breeze. The shared kitchen was well-equipped, and the cozy seating area was perfect for relaxing. The option for express check-in/-out added to the overall convenience. Plus, the added bonus of lockers, individual night/reading lamps, and a shelf for each bed made it super convenient. I highly recommend this hostel for any pilgrim on the Camino - it truly felt like a home away from home.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located accommodation. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I appreciated the extra amenities like the desk and chair. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing me with important documents that I had accidentally left behind. The check-in process was smooth and the common areas were well-maintained. It was also great to have shops and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for exploring the city.
The lack of heating due to low occupancy. But the owner tried to make up for it by offering extra blankets.

The dormitory room I stayed in had all single beds, which was a nice change from the usual bunk beds. The beds were also sectioned off with half walls, giving a bit more privacy. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving me directions on how to get to nearby Burgos. Additionally, the hotel was located in a central area, making it easy to explore the city.
One drawback was that the room I stayed in had thin walls and I could hear noise from the neighboring room. While it wasn't a problem for me as neither of us were snorers, it could be an issue for light sleepers.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The owners warmly welcomed us after our Camino walk. The newly renovated rooms were modern and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and nice hot showers. The individual lockers and reading lamps for each bed were a nice touch. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the bustling city nearby. the owners were helpful in arranging courier services for our backpacks to the next location.
That our "private" room had a large open air connection to another room, which allowed us to hear the person in the other room coughing and snoring loudly all night. This made it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep.

The staff at Carpe Viam were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us when we faced a major issue with our lost passport, guide, and credit card. The hosts promptly contacted us and arranged for our items to be sent to our next accommodation, ensuring they arrived before we did. We were truly grateful for their exceptional service during our pilgrimage on the Camino.
Felt almost like being at home, no complaints.

Great location in the city center, close to shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Enjoyed the added amenities such as a desk and chair in the room. Convenient kitchen facilities on the first floor with a fridge and microwave. Windows that open for fresh air.
No laundry facilities for albergue guests, which was inconvenient. Closest laundry was across town.
